Par discovers 'Identity'

Studio gets in a 'Crisis'

Paramount Pictures has snapped up the spec script "Identity Crisis" penned by New York-based first-time scribes Brent Askari and Chum Langhorne.

Story centers on a man who wakes up in the wreckage of his own bachelor party with amnesia. He only has 24 hours to figure out who he is without screwing up the most important day of his life.

Terra Firma Films' Adam Herz, Greg Lessans and Josh Shader are producing. Pic is being overseen by Par's Ed Goemans for production co-prexies Brad Weston and Alli Shearmur.

Universal-based Terra Firma is producing an untitled comedy being penned by Herz ("American Pie") and will mark his directorial debut.
