Marathon Entertainment's Jewerl Ross has ankled the company to start lit management shingle Silent R Management.
Company will focus on repping new and established feature screenwriters and writer-directors. Joining Ross as a manager is Michael Cavaretta.
Ross' clients include "American Pie 2" scribe David Steinberg, David Logan ("The Rip"), Bob Reece ("Aristocats 2"), T.S. Faull ("Buterfly"), Matt Aldrich ("Cleaner") and Dominic Morgan and Matthew Harvey ("Tristan & Isolde").
Also joining Ross are writer-director Abe Sylvia, Yaphet Smith, Frank Mugavero, Brad Mirman ("Body of Evidence") and the duos Diane Valcroze and Arthur Flam and Ari Margolis and Jim Morley ("Forsaken").
Ross has no plans to produce his clients' work.
Ross began his career in the ICM mailroom and as an assistant at Paradigm. He then spent three years as a lit agent at APA before his four-year stint at Marathon.
