Digital school to open in Estonia

Denmark-based Nordic Baltic Film Fund will back effort

MOSCOW -- The Tallinn-based Baltic Film and Media School will open on schedule in September with Martin Aadamsoo, managing director of Estonia's Film Foundation, becoming its head of development from April.

Supported by Denmark-based Nordic Baltic Film Fund, the fully digital school will develop local talent from around the region.

Marge Liiske, currently head of Media Desk Estonia, will head up EFF, while Karlo Funk, now head of international relations at EFF, will take responsibility for production, development and financing from June, replacing Jaak Lohmus.

Estonian players, along with colleagues from Latvia and Estonia attending Berlin's European Film Market under the Baltic Films sales banner, are due to host a panel debate on co-production with the Baltics today.
