Julianna Margulies, Ali MacGraw and Larry Bryggman top the Broadway cast of lauded London import "Festen," set to begin previews at the Music Box March 23.

Production, based on Thomas Vinterberg's 1998 Dogma film (called "The Celebration" in the U.S.), will be directed by Rufus Norris ("Blood Wedding"). He helmed the show at London's Almeida Theater, where it preemed in 2004 before transferring to the West End for a seven-month run.

Bryggman ("Proof") plays a family patriarch whose 60th birthday celebration uncovers a dirty family secret. Making their Broadway debuts, MacGraw and Margulies play his wife and daughter, respectively, while Michael Hayden (Lincoln Center Theater's "Henry IV") portrays the troublemaking son.

Cast will feature another lead player yet to be confirmed, as well as an ensemble that includes Carrie Preston and David Patrick Kelly.

David Eldridge wrote the adaptation from the screenplay by Vinterberg and Mogens Rukov.

"Festen" opens at the Music Box April 9.
