Circle of Confusion, the Los Angeles- and New York-based management and production shingle that reps the Wachowski brothers, is increasing its circumference.
Shingle has brought on Noah Rosen as a senior manager in the West Coast office. He joins partners David Alpert and David Engel. Circle of Confusion's founding partner Lawrence Mattis is based in New York.
Circle also recently hired associate managers Ashley Berns and John Orlando. Berns was previously a manager at the Radmin Co. and Orlando most recently worked at United Artists.
Additionally, the shingle's East Coast associate manager David Mattis has relocated to Circle's L.A.'s office, completing the company's management expansion.
Rosen previously worked as an independent manager. His clients, which he is bringing to Circle, include Pierce Gardner, whose spec "Dan in Real Life" is set up at Disney; Iris Yamashita (Warner Bros. and DreamWorks' "Red Sun, Black Sand"); and David Ren ("The Shanghai Kid").
Rosen is an exec producer on "Dan in Real Life" and New Line's "Scared Straight."
In addition to bringing his clients to Circle, Rosen will be integral to supporting Circle's existing client base, which includes the Wachowskis, James McTeigue ("V for Vendetta"), Simon Kinberg ("Mr. & Mrs. Smith") and Matthew Sand ("Beowulf").
