There's certainly enough ready material. As Wong said: "If you have death, you have a FD franchise." Producer Craig Perry said the key to an FD film is "everyday locations infused with dread and danger."
New Line's Richard Brener (who mentioned he was eager to see "This Film Is Not Yet Rated," the Sundance docu on the MPAA's ratings criteria), said the pic got a well-deserved R.
"They can give you an R just for tone," said Brener. "Extreme violence, gore, nudity, language -- we've got them all."
