Media Luna buys mock doc rights
German sales agent also buys int'l rights to 'Dragon'
Produced by Spanish indie company ZIP Films, "Thief" is the true story of a cab driver who steals taxis in Barcelona in order to work. Film was a buzz title at September's San Sebastian Film Festival and garnered a special mention from the Altadis New Directors jury.
Reaffirming its interest in Spanish productions, Media Luna has also purchased international rights to Jon Garano's docs "The Dragon House" and "Bhutan's Secrets," about cultural contrasts in Bhutan.
Docs are produced by Garano's Moriarti Prods., Irusoin, Benece Prodss and Basque pubcaster ETB.
