All 11 talkshows were up week to week, while five of 11 tied their highest ratings of the season.
The five talkers included "Maury," which was up 22% from the week prior to a 3.3 -- the biggest gain among talkers.
"Jerry Springer" and "Montel Williams" were both up 10% to a 2.3 while "Tony Danza" was up 8% to a 1.3. "Starting Over" was up 9% to a 1.2.
Top talker "Oprah" was up 16% to a 7.9 while "Dr Phil" was up 2% to a 5.5 and "Live With Regis and Kelly" was up 3% to a 3.6.
Rookie talkers were also higher. "Martha" and "Tyra" were each up 6% to a 1.8 and 1.7, respectively.
Also showing strength for the second week in a row were the top three gameshows.
"Wheel of Fortune" was up 3% to a 9.3, "Jeopardy" was up 1% to a 7.5, and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" was up 3% to a 3.6.
Among the gavelers, four of the top five showed year-to-year declines, even as an increasing number of courtshows are being sold for next season.
Top gaveler "Judge Judy" was down 6% from last year and down 2% week to week to a 5.0 while "Judge Joe Brown" was down 15% from last year but up 6% week to week at a 3.4.
Third-ranking gaveler "People's Court," at a 3.0, was up 3% both year to year and week to week.
"Divorce Court" was down 7% year to year and up 8% week to week at a 2.8 while "Judge Mathis," at a 2.6, was down 4% from last year, although up 13% from the week prior.
The lone rookie gaveler, "Judge Alex" was up 4% to a 2.4.
Elsewhere in firstrun, "Entertainment Tonight" led the magazines for the 498th consecutive week, remaining at its season high of 5.5 for a second week.
