Beers bottles O'Merch

New reality for licensing

Reality TV producer Thom Beers, who's behind hit fare "Monster Garage" and "Deadliest Catch," has created merchandising and licensing company O'Merch.

Company will handle marketing, merchandising, product integration and licensing of all TV brands and related trademarks for Beers' Original Prods., in addition to other producers, shows and lifestyle brands.

First project for O'Merch is Original's "The Messengers," a search for the country's next great inspirational speaker, slated to premiere on TLC this spring. O'Merch will launch related apparel and merchandise for the series.

"Combined with our music and post-production affiliates, we now offer big and small producers a full-service company skilled at getting the most out of brands," Beers said.

Beers' brother Tim Beers will head up the division.

O'Merch is handling Animal Planet's "The Most Extreme" and automotive brands Vulture Kulture and the Chopper King.
