NATPE Mobile closed out their one-day conference on Monday at Mandalay Bay by presenting their first-ever MoTV awards to honor outstanding achievement in the creation of mobile video content.

The Best Mobile Content Award was pre-determined by industry jury and given to "Miami 85" by Marc Shahboz.

The Audience Choice Award and Best Comedy Award were selected by the NATPEMobile audience after viewing selected clips of the nominated films, and then text messaging their winning selection to be counted live, on-site.

"Sophie Chase" by Brent Roske and Chuck Bowman walked away with the Audience Choice Award while "Aroma" by Damon Sylvester and John McDonnell won the Funny Little Movies Award for Best Comedy.

After comic Eddie Griffin presented the comedy kudos to "Aroma," Griffin ended the event by thanking the mobile media community "so that somebody who has talent has another outlet."
