Telefilm workshops with Blighty org

Canuck, U.K. producers will be participate in workshop

Cultural agency Telefilm Canada is teaming up with its Blighty counterpart, North West Vision, to hold the Canada-U.K. Television Co-production Immersion workshop to help producers on both sides of the Pond improve their skills.

A dozen producers each from Canada and the U.K. will be chosen to participate in the workshop, March 5-7 near Manchester, England.

"Canadian participants will learn how they can work with the U.K. television market, and British producers will get to know a key partner to help them take advantage of the new U.K. rights environment," said Danny Chalifour, Telefilm's director of international operations and development.
