Howard's an ACE

Org will also fete Abroms, Rawlings

The American Cinema Editors has selected Ron Howard as the recipient of its ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award.

Kudo will be presented to Howard at the 56th annual ACE Eddie Awards ceremony Feb. 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The org also will honor Ed Abroms and Terry Rawlings with career achievement awards.
