Warner meets the 'Boss'

Radovanov exec producing laffer

Warner Bros. Pictures has preemptively bought Matt Nix's comedy pitch "Boss Go Home" for Warners-based Jon Shestack to produce.

Story concerns a young man who gets the job of his dreams, only to have his boss move in with him and his roomies after the boss's marriage falls apart. He has so much fun with the younger crowd that he won't leave.

Danica Radovanov, who used to work at Shestack's shingle, is exec producing. She, along with Jeremy Stein, brought in the pitch, which was inspired by a real-life junior studio exec who used his ratty car to transport a top-level boss.

Warners creative execs Jessica Goodman and Matt Riley will oversee the project for the studio.

Nix, who recently adapted kids' book "Chasing Vermeer" for Warner Bros., adapted and directed the upcoming "Cock & Bull" from producing troika Evan Astrowsky, Mikkel Bondesen and Rachael Horovitz.

Shestack, who has a first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures, also is producing Steve Carell starrer "Dan in Real Life" at Disney.
