Hunegs
Craig Hunegs has been handed a greatly expanded gig at Warner Bros., moving over to the studio's recently formed TV group as exec VP of business management.
Promotion was announced Monday by Warner Bros. TV Group president Bruce Rosenblum, to whom Hunegs will report.
Hunegs previously served as exec VP of Warner Bros. TV, a job he's held since February 2000. Hunegs will now serve as the top business exec for all of the studio's TV production, distribution and broadcasting arms.
The Warner Bros. TV Group, which Rosenblum launched in September, handles oversight of Warner Bros. TV, the WB, Warner Bros. Animation, Telepictures Prods. and the studio's domestic TV, cable and international distribution arms.
Rosenblum called Hunegs "an integral executive, confidant and friend."
Prior to his most recent title, Hunegs was exec VP of business and financial affairs at Warner Bros. TV, which he joined in 1997. His resume includes serving as senior VP of business affairs at the WB and as a VP at NBC. His entertainment career launched at ABC, where Hunegs was a program attorney.
