Both execs, previously directors in the department, join veep Jamila Hunter in reporting to comedy senior VP Quan Phung.
Barrie is credited for helping develop CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," as well as Fox's Ron Howard/Mitch Hurwitz comedy "Arrested Development."
Weinstock joined 20th in February 2004 and helped develop pilots including Fox comedy "The Loop" and the WB's "Misconceptions."
