Sky to fly with Hallmark

Satcaster inks two-year deal

LONDON -- Sky One, satcaster BSkyB's flagship entertainment web, has inked a two-year output deal with Hallmark Entertainment that gives it first look at upcoming miniseries and rights to 15 existing minis.

The latter includes free, basic cable, pay and VOD rights to "The Poseidon Adventure," "Category 7: The End of the World" and "10.5: Apocalypse," all to air in 2006-07.

Additionally, Sky One has snapped up basic and free rights from 20th Century Fox Television Distribution for crime series "Thief," aired on the FX cable web in the U.S. Skein will air on Sky One in 2006.
