Today the agency caused a stir by sending out its annual assistant holiday present to approximately 1,400 hardworking underlings at studios, law firms, production companies, etc (just not other agencies).
Gift is a license plate-size chocolate bar wrapped and stamped with the UTA logo.
Several dozen of the bars come complete with "golden tickets" but the prize is not a trip to chocolate factory -- it's cash.
Lucky winners will receive money prizes ranging from $100 to $5000, sources confirmed. Last year's UTA gift was a Jack Spade bag with a beach blanket. Winners were pre-selected at random by a third-party accounting firm and the agency is said to have no knowledge of who the winners are, sources added. UTA had no comment.
