Lou Diamond Phillips, Pam Grier and Jacoby Shaddix star in the supernatural thriller. (Under the moniker Coby Dick, Shaddix is the front man for nu metal act Papa Roach.)
Story concerns a married couple who unleash, via a Ouija board, evil spirits that have been residing in their new home's attic.
Ellen Albertini-Dow, Megan Ward, Victor Browne and Christopher Holly also star.
GFP plans to create up to four pics per year, with "high-concept, morally grounded" outlooks. McKinney said his company is looking to produce more wholesome pics in a world where "teens and young adults are bombarded with messages in the media that promote sexual promiscuity, drug and alcohol use and instant gratification."
Other partners in GFP include Tony Chopelas, David Justice and Eve Justice, who are exec producing the McKinney-helmed pic.
Dan Kaplow is producing GFP's first project, which McKinney also penned.
He most recently produced this year's teen pic "Dirty Deeds."
