Raimi, Donen a forgetful pair

Col gets right 'Man' for duo

Columbia Pictures has acquired David Bar Katz's spy thriller "The Man Who Couldn't Forget" for studio-based Sam Raimi and Josh Donen to produce.

Bradley Yonover also produces. Columbia senior VP production Sam Dickerman is overseeing.

Project is one of Col's first buys for Raimi and Donen since the duo launched their production shingle at the studio in January.

Katz's previous work includes the Tony Award-nominated play "Freak," which he co-wrote and directed. He also penned a novel due for publication in 2006 by Crown Publishing.
