Dual gigs for Caine

Thesp to star in 'Children of Men,' 'The Prestige'

Michael Caine will join the cast of "Children of Men" and follow that by reteaming with "Batman Begins" director Christopher Nolan in "The Prestige" for Disney and Warner Bros.

Caine will head to London first to join Clive Owen, Julianne Moore and Chiwetel Ejiofor in "Children of Men," the futuristic adaptation of the P.D. James novel scripted by Cuaron and Tim Sexton.

Then he returns to the U.S. to join Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale in "The Prestige," playing a retired magician who teaches tricks to Jackman's character, who has developed a bitter rivalry with another magician (Bale).

Script was written by Jonah Nolan from a Christopher Priest novel. Christopher Nolan is producing with Emma Thomas and Aaron Ryder.
