Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures are financing the Castle Rock production.
Zeta-Jones plays the frosty chef Martha James, who's stunned when her sister dies and leaves a 10-year-old daughter in her care. She also finds herself sharing her kitchen with a charming up-and-coming chef (Eckhart). Their chemistry grows beyond a culinary level.
Pic was adapted by Carol Fuchs from an original pic written and directed by Sandra Nettlebeck. Sergio Aguero and Kerry Heysen are producing, with Bruce Berman exec producing with Susan Cartsonis.
Eckhart most recently starred in the Jason Reitman-directed "Thank You for Smoking," bought by Fox Searchlight at the Toronto Film Festival. He also co-starred in the Brian De Palma-directed "The Black Dahlia" and in "Conversations With Other Women," an indie that premiered at Telluride.
