Lifetime TV has added the new title of executive VP and general manager for Lifetime Movie Network to the duties of Louise Henry Bryson.

Bryson will continue in her job as executive VP of distribution and affiliate business development for Lifetime Entertainment Services. Her boss, Betty Cohen, president and CEO, said, "Creating this new appointment underscores our belief that the network has enormous potential in all areas, from new programming and marketing to cracking the 50 million subscriber mark early next year."

Now in 46 million households, Lifetime Movie Network is averaging a year-to-date 0.7 primetime household rating, well ahead of its two main rivals, Oxygen, with a 0.3 rating, and WE: Women's Entertainment, with a 0.2.

Before joining Lifetime in 1999, Bryson was senior VP of affiliate sales and marketing for FX Networks.
