Currently based in Gotham, exec will relocate to IEG's Los Angeles operation and assume exec duties on several of the company's projects, while working with director of development Alexa Faigen
Wachtell and Faigen both report to King.
Exec worked at Miramax for six years, and was also simultaneously veep of production at Miramax genre arm Dimension for the past two years.
At the minimajor, she was responsible for the acquisition and development of lit properties including "Artemis Fowl," "The Nanny Diaries" and "Derailed," which is currently skedded as the first release from Bob and Harvey Weinstein's new media venture.
She also oversaw pics for Miramax including "Duplex."

Wachtell has additionally held posts at Harrison Ford Prods. and Winkler Films.
IEG recently inked a first-look producing deal with Warner Bros., and King is serving as producer on two pics for the studio, "The Departed" and "Shantaram."
Company's previous credits include "Traffic," "Ali" and "Gangs of New York."
