TV Azteca taps exex

Jose Antonio Cerbon has been named director of channels at TV Azteca, a veep position in charge of programming on Mexico's No. 2 net's national channels, 7 and 13.

Guillermo Alegret, former director of channels, will be director of local stations, which includes Mexican stations as well as U.S. web Azteca America's flagship Los Angeles station KAZA-TV.

Both execs report to TV Azteca CEO Mario San Roman. Cerbon was head of publicity at TV Azteca owner Ricardo Salinas' holding company Grupo Salinas.
