Greenstein
HOLLYWOOD -- Paramount has tapped Dimension's marketing chief Josh Greenstein to serve in the newly created position of senior VP, creative advertising.
Greenstein, who will move to Los Angeles and start in the slot early next month, will report to Gerry Rich, Par's president of worldwide marketing. He'll work with the creative advertising department's print and audiovisual creative materials and be on Rich's senior creative team with Nancy Goliger, Jim Gibbons and Jeremy Sauter.
"I find him to be a great marketing executive with tremendous creative instincts," Rich said of Greenstein. "He has a deservedly stellar reputation in New York, and I am sure he will quickly make a name for himself in Los Angeles."
During his Dimension tenure, Greenstein oversaw campaigns for all Dimension films, including "Sin City," "The Others," "Bad Santa," and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." He was also responsible for the marketing campaigns of the second and third installments in the "Scary Movie" and "Spy Kids" franchises.
Greenstein is following the footsteps of former Dimension co-prez Brad Weston, who signed on as co-president of production in the spring, and Dimension exec Dan Levine, who has become a senior VP of production.
