The format deal was put together by CBS Paramount Intl TV with Teutonic broadcaster ProSieben and unveiled Wednesday.
"Germany's Next Top Model" will be produced locally by outfit Tresor TV.
Germany joins Australia, France, Russia, the U.K., Thailand, the Philippines, Sweden, Norway and Denmark in licensing the format rights for the UPN original, which toplines Banks.
"This exciting franchise is a ratings sensation around the world, proving that fashion is a universal language," CBS Paramount International TV prexy Armando Nunez said.
No figure was available for the value of the deal. Several of the "Model" formats which are produced abroad have subsequently been sold into other territories -- the Russian format to the Ukraine, for example -- and CBS Par makes money on these sales as well as on format fees.
"America's Next Top Model" is produced by 10 by 10 Entertainment in association with Bankable Prods. and is entering its fifth cycle on UPN. Original episodes are licensed in 90 countries by CBS Paramount international arm under Nunez.
