Par, which outbid several studios in an auction conducted by Paradigm, has set up "The Pilot" with Foursight Entertainment partners Jeremy Bell, George Heller and Michael Lasker. The trio, who manage Rosenthal, will exec produce while Par's Dan Levine will oversee for the studio.
Rosenthal's story, set in 1983, centers on a misogynistic pilot who's brought up on sexual harassment charges and forced to become a cabin steward in order to learn gender sensitivity.
It's the second project set up by Rosenthal at Paramount, following last year's pitch sale of "Mini-Golf" with Phil Dornfeld directing and Carsey- Werner and Outlaw producing. He's also penning a rewrite of "Night Girls" for New Regency and "Arrested Development" for New Line.
Foursight also is producing "Camp Rockaway" for Sony with Red Wagon and exec producing the independent project "Haven."
