Thriller -- the story of a son and father separately planning to escape the desolation of their lives through a lurid underworld -- will lense in Brazil in September.
Mos Def ("The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy") and Catalina Sandino Moreno ("Maria Full of Grace") are in talks to join the project; Alice Braga ("City of God") is onboard.
Pic is being produced by James Acheson, Frank DeMartini and Richard Gladstein.
Millennium's Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and Danny Dimbort are exec producing with the Firm's Simon Millar and Adam Shulman.
Eason's "Manito" won a special jury prize at Sundance in 2002.
