MONTREAL -- The ninth Comedia, the 10-day film festival that runs as part of Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival, will kick off with the Canuck preem of the Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson comedy "Wedding Crashers" on July 14.

The lineup was unveiled at a press conference here Tuesday.

It includes the world preem of Seth MacFarlane's unrated DVD feature "Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story!." Mike Henry, who does several voices on "Family Guy," and head writer Steve Callaghan will introduce the screening. The DVD launches Sept. 27.

Fest will also have the Canadian premiere of director Paul Provenza's "The Aristocrats," featuring Robin Williams, Jon Stewart, George Carlin and a host of others telling an incredibly dirty joke. Producer Penn Jillette and Provenza will host a Q&A along with "Aristocrat" comics Doug Stanhope, Gregg Rogell, Judy Gold and Jake Johannsen.

Other pics include director Jeffrey Ross's "Patriot Act," about a number of comics, including Drew Carey, in Iraq; "My Date With Drew," about Brian Herzlinger's attempt to nab a date with Drew Barrymore in 30 days or less; and "My Big Fat Independent Movie," which spoofs "Memento," "Pulp Fiction" and "Swingers," among others.

The closing night film is Gallic pic "Quand la mer monte," starring Yolande Moreau, who won Gaul's Cesar Award for actress.

Fest will also screen "Boudu," a re-make of the classic 1932 Jean Renoir pic starring Gerard Depardieu and Gerard Jugnot.

Comedia has doubled the number of short-film screenings and added the new short-film series "Eat My Nasty Shorts." There is also a sidebar of shorts programmed by the noted French shorts fest Clermont-Ferrand.
