Road grosses were up 14.77% to $11,400,891 during Week 3 (June 13-19) as nine of 14 shows saw increases. Some shows saw big jumps, such as "Hairspray," which rose $502,339 to $872,836 in moving from Appleton, Wis., to Cleveland. "The Mambo Kings" earned $751,780 during the final week of its San Francisco pre-Broadway tryout.
