Regan says the show will provide authors -- celebrity and non-celebrity alike -- a venue for talking about life and work beyond in-store book signings and without the indecency strictures placed by the FCC on TV and terrestrial radio.
"My favorite thing to do is have intimate conversations," Regan said. "The freedom to have conversations that are unlimited and frank and free-flowing is very appealing to me."

But she said the idea of doing radio is liberating.
"There will be no burkhas and no Botox; I can age gracefully on radio," she said.
