Broadway director George C. Wolfe has been attached to direct the project, centering on performances and original music by the singer (Daily Variety, June 15).
Will Packer is producing, with Usher and Rob Hardy as exec producers.
MTV exec veep David Gale is overseeing the project with Loretha Jones and Susan Lewis.
Par production co-prexy Alli Shearmur is shepherding along with Naketha Mattocks and Matt Jackson.
