Clear Channel taps exec VP

Perry will oversee ops for company's 40 stations

SAN ANTONIO --Clear Channel Television, a unit of Clear Channel Communications, has named Donald D. Perry to the new position of exec VP and chief operating officer.

Perry will oversee operations for the company's 40 TV stations in the U.S., as well as the division's six regional veepees. He has served as vice president- general manager of San Antonio flagship WOAI-TV since 1996 and has been regional VP of the Clear Channel Television's Southwest region since 2002.
