NEW YORK -- Columbia Pictures is in final negotiations to snap up high-concept action pitch "Twitch" from scribes Brendan Cowles and Shane Kuhn.

Neal Moritz's Original Film banner is partnering with Brian Koppelman and David Levien to produce the pic, set in the world of gaming.

Deal, being reeled in by the studio's Matt Tolmach and Sam Dickerman, would be worth mid-six figures. Original's Ori Marmur also pitched the project with the "Twitch" team.

Cowles and Kuhn are prepping to helm the horror thriller "Drive Thru" for Lions Gate and Armada Pictures.

Moritz just inked a pact to produce Disney's "Field Trip" as a starring vehicle for Kevin James. He also produced Columbia's Rob Cohen-helmed summer actioner "Stealth."

Koppelman and Levien are producing Edward Norton starrer "The Illusionist" along with Bull's Eye Entertainment and Michael London Prods. They also recently created the gambling skein "Tilt" for ESPN.

Duo just jumped to CAA from Endeavor following the move of their rep Spencer Baumgarten.
