Radha gets her game on

Thesp climbs TriStar 'Hill'

Radha Mitchell will star in "Silent Hill," the bigscreen adaptation of the Konami vidgame franchise. The film was recently acquired by TriStar Pictures in a negative pickup.

Shooting begins this week in Toronto.

Roger Avary penned the script, based on the trilogy of "Hill" vidgames, which center on a mother and daughter seeking to uncover the secrets of the seemingly abandoned town of the title.

Christophe Gans ("Brotherhood of the Wolf") is directing.

Samuel Hadida is producing and financing the pic via his Davis Film Prods. and Konami Corp.

Mitchell stars in Woody Allen's latest, "Melinda and Melinda," and co-starred in "Finding Neverland."
