The National Cable & Telecommunications Assn. has tapped Comcast prexy-CEO Brian Roberts chairman of the NCTA board for 2005-06.
A&E TV Networks CEO emeritus Nick Davatzes has been elected vice chairman; Cablevision Systems chief operating officer Tom Rutledge has been appointed treasurer; and Advance/Newhouse chair-CEO Bob Miron has been named secretary.
NCTA also unveiled the members of its executive committee: NCTA prexy-CEO Kyle McSlarrow; Landmark Communications prexy-COO Decker Anstrom; chair-CEO of Showtime Networks Matthew Blank; Time Warner Cable chair-CEO Glenn Britt; Mediacom Communications chair-CEO Rocco Commisso; GCI president Ronald Duncan; prexy-CEO of Cox Communications Jim Robbins; Adelphia Communications chair-CEO William Schleyer; and Insight Communications president-CEO Michael Willner.
