Thesp Lauren Holly rounds out the cast on the WB's Camryn Manheim project, while Kimberly Elise has secured a role in CBS' Bruckheimer pilot "American Crime."

Holly and Elise castings come as most of this spring's crop of pilots head into production. Holly will play Andrea in the Manheim project, while Elise is onboard "American Crime" as the character Maureen Dobie.

Holly, best known for her stints on "Picket Fences" and "Chicago Hope," was set to star this past season in the WB series "Rocky Point," which ultimately didn't move forward. Thesp also recently starred in the telepic "Just Desserts," and will next be seen in the features "Fatwa" and "The Pleasure Drivers."

Manheim project comes from Warner Bros. TV and the Tannenbaum Co., and stars the former "Practice" cast member as the mother of three kids.

Elise, meanwhile, is currently in the feature "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." Her other recent credits include "The Manchurian Candidate," "John Q" and "Bait." On TV, she recurred on "Soul Food" and "Girlfriends."

"American Crime," from Warner Bros. TV and Bruckheimer TV, follows the world of crime in suburbia through the eyes of a prosecutor.

Meanwhile, Henry Simmons ("NYPD Blue") has joined the cast of the ABC pilot "Love Life" opposite Julie Bowen. He'll play a surgeon in the laffer, which revolves around a group of thirtysomething singles living in Philadelphia. Touchstone and Burke/Tarses produce.

Simmons' credits also include "Lackawanna Blues" and the feature "Taxi."
