"Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Cheryl Hines is set to star with Robin Williams in the Barry Sonnenfeld-directed comedy "RV" for Columbia Pictures.
Red Wagon's Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing with Bobby Cohen.
Hines, who plays Larry David's beleaguered wife in the HBO series, will play the spouse of an overworked man who abruptly loads his family into an RV en route to Colorado, hoping they won't discover he is actually going there to attend a business meeting.
Pic will start shooting in May in Vancouver. George Rodkey penned the script; Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel did the rewrite.
Hines, who returns to the series in September, made a slew of films during her last hiatus. She'll next be seen in "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and the indies "Bickford Schmeckler's Cool Ideas," "Our Very Own," "Cake" and "Lucky 13." Hines also exec produced a half-hour improvised pilot for Oxygen and voiced an animated character in the series "Father of the Pride."
