H'wood Records ups exex

Lind, Bunt take senior veep posts

The Disney Co.'s Hollywood Records has upped a number of execs and signed two senior VPs to long-term deals.

Hollywood Records senior VP-general manager Abbey Konowitch, a former MTV exec, and senior VP of promotion Justin Fontaine have inked long-term deals to stay in their current posts.

Promoted to senior VP are Jon Lind in A&R and Buena Vista Music Group publishing and Ken Bunt in marketing, who will oversee product management, advertising, corporate partnerships, creative services administration and online marketing.

In addition, Lillian Matulic, a former senior VP at MCA and Geffen, has been named VP of publicity, responsible for developing and executing publicity campaigns for Hollywood Records' artists as well as corporate publicity.

In the last year, the label has had success with albums from Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Breaking Benjamin and Lyric Street Records' Rascal Flatts.
