"Twelve Angry Men" will finally end its deliberations on Broadway, announcing its final extension through May 15.
The Roundabout Theater Company production also will have a national tour, presented in association with Clear Channel Entertainment, during the 2006-07 season. Dates include a stop at D.C.'s Kennedy Center.
"Angry's" Broadway director, Scott Ellis, and design team will repeat their duties on the tour. Auditions will be held this fall.
Reginald Rose's drama will have run a total of 32 weeks when it shutters at the American Airlines Theater. Kate Burton in W. Somerset Maugham's "The Constant Wife" starts previews at the theater May 27 for a June 16 opening night. Mark Brokaw directs the social comedy.
Meanwhile, "Angry's" "Law and Audience" post-show series will be held every Tuesday through April 12. Panelists from the Martha Stewart and Tyco juries as well as experts from the legal community are skedded to participate. Visit Roundabouttheatre.org for more information.
