HOLLYWOOD "Side by Side by Sondheim" was revived in Beverly Hills at the 13th annual "A Night at Sardi's" Alzheimer fundraiser, held March 9 at the Beverly Hilton.

Actors Jennifer Garner, Peter Gallagher, Victor Garber, Megan Mullally and Eric McCormack, among others, performed selections from the Broadway revue.

Gallagher, who emceed the event, initially had trouble getting the crowd's attention. However, he quickly gained their interest after joking researchers have suggested that marijuana may help those with Alzheimer's. "See, now you're listening," he said.

Before the music began, Leslie Moonves presented a kudo to "Without a Trace" exec producer Hank Steinberg for an episode of the skein that dealt with the disease.

Both Anthony LaPaglia and Martin Landau, who starred in the father/son-oriented episode, were on hand to congratulate Steinberg.

"We do a show about missing persons," Steinberg said. "Here's this person (and) they are disappearing before your eyes. The theme seemed incredibly important to us."

Steinberg went to on to joke that he finally felt like an adult.

"I think I finally grew up," Steinberg said. "I got an award from Les Moonves and my father didn't comment on the fact that I am not wearing a tie."
