"The Passion of the Christ" took home the top award at the 13th annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards Gala on Thursday.
Not unexpectedly, the Christian Film and Television Commission presented "Passion" with the John C. Templeton Epiphany Prize for Film, which includes a heavenly chunk of change: $50,000.
Jim Caviezel garnered kudos for "Passion" as the winner of the Grace Award for acting in a film. The Epiphany Prize for television went to "Doc: Happy Trails." Jamie Foxx took home the Grace award in TV for his role in "Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story."
"The Incredibles" drew the family pic nod, "Spider-Man 2" the mature audience movie honors.
Movie documentary nod went to "America's Heart and Soul," and "The Question of God" drew the TV docu prize.
