Org didn't reveal the number of suits filed, but it's believed to be similar to the initial November round of about 200 targets.
Those suits followed MPAA topper Dan Glickman's announcement earlier that month that studios would take on the growing threat of Net piracy with lawsuits against individuals.
As with the RIAA, which has sued over 5,000 people, the MPAA has promised to continue suing alleged downloaders, with new rounds every few months as long as there is online piracy.
Org also said that several individuals sued in November are negotiating settlements. Many RIAA suits have been settled for several thousand dollars, significantly less than the maximum statutory damages allowed by federal law.
