Tobe Hooper, creator of the original 1974 "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," has hired "2001 Maniacs" scribes Chris Kobin and Tim Sullivan to pen the third release of his TH Nightmares horror franchise.
Hooper and producing partner Alan Somers picked Kobin and Sullivan after reading the duo's remake of the 1967 cult hit "She Freak."
Hooper and Somers are currently shooting "Mortuary," with thriller "Marked" to follow.
Producers would reveal neither title nor storyline. Pic should shoot later this year.
