Pic marks the feature debut of helmer Matt Nix, who penned the screenplay.
Nix calls "Bull" a "dark comedy about an ordinary middle-class woman who, while in a stifling marriage to an alcoholic husband, transforms into a man."
Tyro helmer is also adapting the kids' book "Chasing Vermeer," by Blue Balliett, for Warner Bros.
Polley, who starred in this year's "Dawn of the Dead" remake by Zack Snyder, recently wrapped indie pic "The Hawk Is Dying" opposite Paul Giamatti and Michael Pitt. She has a spate of further upcoming projects, including El Deseo's English-lingo "The Secret Life of Words," with Tim Robbins and Julie Christie, and "Don't Come Knocking," with Sam Shepard, Jessica Lange and Eva Marie Saint.
O'Donnell appears in the Fox Searchlight release "Kinsey," as well as Arthur Allan Seidelman's upcoming contempo adaptation of Anton Chekov's drama "Three Sisters," dubbed "The Sisters."
