Wolf, who previously wrote the David Spade vehicles "Dickie Roberts" and "The Adventures of Joe Dirt," is scripting a romantic comedy involving a New Jersey mob boss who sends a crew over to England to check on his daughter's impending wedding to a royal. The mobsters discover that England is ripe for mob expansion, especially once they are offered help by some dukes and duchesses in need of money to hang on to their country estate.
Wolf, who just signed with UTA, has a long track record with Michaels, going back to when he was head writer of "Saturday Night Live." Wolf had a hand scripting the Michaels-produced pics "Tommy Boy" and "Black Sheep," which starred ex-"SNL" star Chris Farley.
Par's Karen Rosenfelt will oversee the pic for Par.
