Angela Cheng Caplan has formed her own lit and talent management shingle, Cheng Caplan Co.
Clients include writer-director Will Rokos ("Monster's Ball"); author Pete Hautman (whose "Godless" recently won the National Book Award); writer-producer teams Jon and Erich Hoeber and Leo Chu and Eric Garcia; writer-directors David Van Eyssen, Michael Kang, Mark Christopher and Alex & Andrew Smith; and authors Aimee Bender, Kevin Brockmeyer, Marty Beckerman and Bruce Hale.
Cheng Caplan broke into the business in talent with Peg Donegan and Maryellen Mulcahy, then worked with Ron Bernstein at Gersh, where she became an agent. She spent the last five years at Writers and Artists, repping screenwriters, directors, comicbook creators, authors and journalists.
