Reeves plans to begin production on the crime thriller shortly after he completes promotional duties for Warner Bros. Pictures on "Constantine." That pic bows Feb. 18.
Penned by James Ellroy, pic is the story of a disgraced cop who discovers corruption inside a police department and sets out on a mission to redeem himself.
Alexandra Milchan produces the film, with Yari as executive producer.
Milchan is also working on "The Crowded Room," which Joel Schumacher is directing.
Reeves will be seen in the upcoming "Thumbsucker," which is tipped to premiere at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. He also stars in Richard Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly," the Philip K. Dick adaptation that Warners will bow next fall.
Lee most recently directed "She Hate Me" for Sony Pictures Classics and "Sucker Free City," a Showtime Networks production that bowed at the Toronto Intl. Film Festival.
