Goyer 'Invisible' man for Spyglass, D'Works
Helmer signs on for English-lingo remake of Swedish thriller

Pic, written by Mick Davis, is based on the Swedish supernatural thriller about two young teens whose real selves are invisible to others. One teen's untimely death renders him literally invisible. The other is metaphorically invisible due to the neglect she's endured since the death of her mother.
Davis wrote the original pic in English. Script was then translated into Swedish and helmed by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist.
Spyglass bought the remake rights in 2002. The shingle is wholly financing the pic and DreamWorks is handling domestic distribution.
Spyglass' Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman are producing with Neal Edelstein and Mike Macari ("The Ring," "Mulholland Dr.").
Glickman and Erin Stam will oversee the project for Spyglass. Mark Sourian is shepherding for DreamWorks.
Davis wrote and directed "Modigliani," starring Andy Garcia, which preemed at the Toronto Film Festival. He also wrote and will direct a remake of "The Portrait of Dorian Gray," starring Ryan Phillippe. It's skedded to go early next year.
Goyer wrote "Batman Begins" for director Christopher Nolan and recently inked a first-look deal at Warner Bros. He is also attached to direct and exec produce CBS' tentatively titled pilot "Threshold," a contemporary sci-fi drama about the government's response to an alien threat.
