The site will allow job seekers to post their resumes and apply for industry and media jobs throughout the world.
Employers will find it more targeted to the industry than other online sites, said Charlie Koones, executive vice president and publisher of the Variety Group, which also includes Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and Video Business, the other publications supporting the site.
VarietyCareers.com launches with more than 3,500 job listings from companies including NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures.
